734.png 		Walter considers themself an automaton possessing qualities equal - at the very least - to any organic being. Empathy. Creativity. Justice. Hopes. Dreams. Humor. What is so inherently biological about these things? Nothing at all, that's what, and so Walter doesn't see why they can't partake in all of them.

Particularly humor. Walter appreciates good humor, contrary to what their expressionless facial features and lack of intonation seem to imply. (That is a mere fault on their designer's part.) Though it can take a few unfortunately straight-faced jokes of their own to convince others that they're laughing on the inside, they still enjoy every moment of it.

Puns, whether made or simply heard, they have a great fondness for. It's possibly a remnant from their original clan - they've spoken once or twice about a young guardian that they met there as a child with their programming still in-the-works and impressionable. An ever-smiling face, whom they'd found delightfully funny company.

Walter's main colleagues, the clan's pair of easygoing tundra chefs, have taken the automaton's various quirks into stride, from their synthetic aspects to the occasional quip that falls flat (try as they might, there are some things Walter simply doesn't comprehend about typical humor, though they're hopeful that this will change with experience). Walter genuinely likes them, an opinion that only strengthens when they inform the automaton that they're already aware. Really, it's nice to meet dragons who don't make assumptions about that mechanical heart of theirs.
