An Employer. One of the few who tied themselves to the leylines, the Councillor took the duty of watching the inner workings alongside the Producer. Though their intent was pure, their zealotry and eventual paranoia coloured their decisions quite black.

Eventually, the Producer abandoned his duties, leaving none to temper the Councillor's decrees. Soon after, a tipping point was reached, driving one of Purgatory's very own retainers to take up its blade and slay them.

Spirits do not die easily, though. Even a creature created by the will of greater spirits is difficult to kill outright. Though their mind may die, their very existence will bleed out for centuries on end.

What remains now is an echo, but an echo does remain.
