Nobody is quite sure what the Deepness is, but often, when a dragon goes missing for a time from their former post, they can be found here. The cavern is lined with comfortable moss and berries that glow. [Hatchlings think these berries cause strange things.] The Deepness calls dragons to sleep for endless amounts of time, and these dragons never age or die. They simply sleep. Dragons can wake up, though they don't remember their dreams.
