Over the years, the creation of Simul Clan transformed Ignis Clan--their father clan--from a primarily Light originated clan, to a mismatched group of dragons from all over Sornieth. Scholars, scouts, warriors, medicine-dragons, and town's-dragons all call Simul Clan home. No dragon has true roots in the Sunbeam Ruins. Perhaps, one day, they'll travel to another region.
While the rare skirmish does break out, clan members are relatively peaceful to their fellow dragon. Together, in their differences, they are stronger. . . for now . . .

the H I S T O R Y
Several years ago, in their eleventh hour, the Lucerna Clan begged something from the Ignis Clan.
Both clans had existed for hundreds of history rich years, and both were governed by a long line of pure blooded Nocturnes. Alas, the Lucerna clan had now grown desperate, war torn, and riddled with disease. However, a single pureblood Nocturne son of the ruling family had survived, and -- miraculously -- he remained healthy. In a desperate attempt to safeguard their legacy and continue on the millennia of Nocturne blood that had come before them, the ruling family implored the Ignis Clan to accept their son as one of their own. Taking pity on the plight of the Lucerna, and seeing the end of his own reign grow nearer with age, the Ignis sovereign, Regnar, accepted.
Nearly immediately, Riddle, the young Lucerna Nocturne, became the sole survivor of his clan. Regnar took advantage of the situation and ordered Puff, the Clan’s hatchling nurse and medicine-dragon at the time, to raise Riddle to be mate to his daughter and the best future king he could possibly be. With this introduction of fresh Nocturne blood, the Ignis Clan was renamed the Simul Clan. Quickly, the two budding dragons fell into deep infatuation, and Regnar's plan seemed successful.
Inevitably, the dark day soon came when both Regnar and his mate took their final breaths. With their passing, the paradise of infatuation between the two young dragons grew sour. As the responsibilities began piling up, Riddle’s quiet gentleness turned into his weakness, and Gwendolyn’s opinionation transformed into her an authoritarian. The Simul clan continued onwards and forwards, but the seeds of darkness had already been sowed. . .
