A deep breath, and a step forward. The narrowing of your world to the scratched ice beneath your feet, stained with the blood and furrowed by the claws of the dragons before you, to the chill bite of the freezing air, to the breathing and movement of a hundred silent dragons, all watching you when you slam your visor down. This is what matters: the hulking blue Iceborn at the other end of the arena, all dull eyes and elaborate armor and overbearing confidence, and the nervous red Nocturne presiding over what will determine your fate. She nods, expression hidden by a heavy grey mask, and the match begins.


Of three fighting rings, each more vicious than the last, The Ring of Meat is the first. On many a day, the roar of the crowd can be heard throughout and beyond the ice caves that houses the Ring of Meat. The ground within the ring is treacherous slush, red with the blood of contestants, and most dragons never make it past the first ring.
For those who manage to claw their way past the Ring of Meat, the Ring of Frost is a shock. The howling crowds and close quarters are replaced with an echoing expanse of ice and silent spectators. Everything is muted and quiet, and the first contestant to make a sound loses.

Located deep within the twisting corridors of the ice caves, the Regent’s Ring is the final fighting ring. Very few ever make it this far, and it comes at a price; the only end to a match in this ring is death.
