The caves and the clan that dwells in them are named for the small gusts of wind that travel through them. They whistle on the rock and echo around until all that is heard is a continuous whisper. Sometimes it just sounds like wind, other time it sounds as if it's barely formed speech, perhaps from some unknown language.
