Dragons of all breeds and elements have gathered here in a tentative alliance to survive the Shifting Expanse's bleak environment and mercurial climate. Under the aegis of Derecho, an esteemed artificer and the de facto leader of this syndicate, many clanless dragons have found a meaningful home. The Helicity Basin is guarded by the Stormfront, a loose regiment whose ranks include everyone from Derecho's trusted confidants to the zealous strangers who simply joined for a cause to defend. Any wanderer or vagrant can ensure they are fed and protected here, provided they do not provoke the wrath of the Stormfront. Despite the vein of tension between running between dragons, they understand the importance of their coexistence and when threatened, have little difficulty uniting to create a ferocious front to protect their home.
