The distant rumble of dragon's chatter and music fills the air, covering the sound of midnight fireflies and grasshoppers like silk. Venturing through the Zephyr Steppes, you go follow the sound, going closer and closer until you are sure you have found its source. You come upon a cluster of tangled bamboo packed so closely together it nearly seemed like it was a jigsaw puzzle. Yet, behind the wall of bamboo, you could hear noise. Weaving around the cluster, you find an entrance adorned with various skulls of different creatures ranging from dragons to birds, each with muted, dyed feathers.

You slip into the tunnel entrance, brushing your talons against the wall, hearing the leaves rustle as you push them along. The noise grows and grows, welling up so loudly that you couldn't listen to the serene outside world if you tried. You step into a clearing. A resplendent bonfire glows, with dragons of many species gathered around it, sharing stories and meals. A few played songs on flutes and drums and xylophones and clarinets, the mood of their melodies changing with the story's.

They went silent. Each dragon's eyes were aimed at you. And suddenly, out of nowhere, "Welcome, stranger!" The dragons cheer, raising their filled cups and taking generous gulps from them. You sat down with them around the fire as they continued their daring tales. You ate with them as if they had never quarreled over a meager food shortage, and they had plenty food to go around. You tell your tales as if they were your closest friends and family that you knew could keep any secret. But as dawn approached and you knew you would have to say your goodbyes, you very much knew you would be back here again soon.

i for some reason really like succulents and ram horns; and i find jumping spiders really cute but when i see them irl i get deathly afraid
