How a became Liquorice.

* You know, sitting and doing almost nothing for a whole year, then getting out for like a week, and then going back under for year? I don't think it really suits me. I think I want to leave, make a life for myself.

* I've left my clan behind, which they were quite chill with, I don't think they cared about me much. Anyway, I was on my diddly darn way when I found myself at the "Tsunami Flats". I wasn't paying attention, I felt like walking. Then, I was minding my business, getting water cause I needed it, and I saw a smokin' hot lady! I went over to her and starting hissing and making horrible pitches, aka what coatls call communication. I think it's disgusting. She said her name is "ChaiTeaLatte". What an interesting name, what's a Chai Tea Latte? Anyway, I asked her what she was doing in water territory, I saw she was from the ice flight. Apparently, she had also left her clan, because whenever her clan was attacked, she was a huge target because she was dark and brown unlike the tundra and the snow. She didn't know what to do, she came here because she didn't want to find another clan to join, because she felt illegitimate, unnecessary, and unworthy. OH, What a coincidence!

Here's how this conversation goes:

Liquorice
I'm sorry to hear that. You know, I left my clan too. Shadow clans can be a bore, I tell you!

(They both laugh)

ChaiTeaLatte
(Finishes laughing) Well, I'd better get going if I want to find food. It was nice meeting you.

Liquorice
Well, wait. You can stay with me. It's better to stick together, you know.

ChaiTeaLatte
You're probably right. I'll sleep here for the next few days, but then I must go.

Liquorice
Very Well.

About a month later.

* So this is interesting. We've actually been here a lot longer than we've agreed, and I think we've both kinda telepathically agreed that we're staying. We've kinda made our own camping system. We've got fire, food, water, beds (kinda), and protection. I think I have good chances with her.

* Some crazy stuff happened. I was out gathering food, and when I came back I saw Chai talking to a fae. A very bright pink one. But how? There so monotone! We could understand her, she was speaking coatl somehow. And she had gills! gills I tell you! She told us to call her Macaron. She had stopped by and asked what Chai was doing alone. Then after an hour or so apparently she wanted to join us. What the heck! She left us right when I got back to tell her friends she's leaving them to join us.

* Holy crap. I had no idea that fae was popular! She knows Tidelord! She was a "favorite of his". She carried out errands for him and stood gaurd and watched for any people coming too close and gave him advice and talked to him! Turns out "Macaron" was the little nickname he had for her. Anyway, she told us the Tidelord wanted to meet us tomorrow. Oh no! What if he doesn't like me, after all, coatls are naturally from the fire flight. I'll have to look my best.

* It's the morning I'm supposed to meet Tidelord. I've straightened and polished all of my feathers and combed my fur (with my teeth, that are also insanely polished).

Macaron brought them to a point about the water where she told them to wait. He immediately flew downwards into the water. After 10 minutes she came out of the water with a smile. They followed her to a hidden tunnel. It led straight to Tidelord.

* Today was awesome. Tidelord was almost thankful that we joined his flight. He was eager at the chance to tick off Flamecaller. So eager in fact that he us gills, and anyone who joins our brand new clan in the future will develop gills in a bout a week. Babies will be born with gills.

There you go! That's how it started. And from this point forward, I'll add another diary log to my story every month as it progresses.

I joined this clan because of of my friend Kovyx. I love coatls and I plan to base my clan mainly on coatls. There will be other dragons, but many will be coatls. I hope you have a nice day, and see you on the sight!

Skittle - Liquorice's and ChaiTeaLatte's son
Jellybean - Liquorice's and ChaiTeaLatte's daughter
Guren and Chikara - A nocturne couple that joined us basically because they were lost.
Rainbow Rock - A trader who's claimed she's staying with us "just for the moment".

Awwwww, look at the little things awwwwww~ my babies are so cute, the boy looks just like me. Anyway some couple stopped by and asked us where they were, though it should have been obvious. They said they're just gonna stick with us for a while. Better being lost closer than farther to your homeland. Also, a merchant stopped by. She said she'll be staying with us for "just a bit" to recover to her happy self. Skittle's name for her is RainbowRock, so I've followed along. Finally, we decided to follow on the trend that started with Chai and Macaron, my new name is Liquorice and our children are named Skittle and Jellybean. Btw, I don't know what these candies are, they just sound like something a candy would be called.
