At the meeting of the border between Shadow and Light lies a city-state steeped in sin, Valcante. Known best for its gambling dens, bordellos, and black market, the city can indulge the cravings of anyone that passes through it - so long as they have enough coin, of course. Five prominent merchant families play puppet master to the royal family, ruling through a choke hold on commerce and trade. But be warned not to get caught outdoors after dark. Turned labyrinthine by the series of canals running through it, the city swallows many and spits out few.

Just had to mention I'm happy to see Kier has gone to such a good home. His lore is wonderful! (I originally hatched/owned him, before Gainstrive took him and made him a great portrait ;w; )
