THE SHADOWSTALKER CLAN

All babies shall remain nameless until date of maturity as is a tradition of the clan.

Unnamed babies and project dragons in beginning of lair.

Open to lending out to breed, taking in others (for a small period) in order to breed as the clan welcomes fresh blood and will care for any young that is left behind.

The clan's own lore:
As if stepping from the Shadowbinder's own shadow, the matriarch Shadowstalker found a land for the start of her own clan within the Driftwood Drag. Together with her lifemate Blueshadow, she started gathering lost young ones to share the safety of a large cave set in some ruins. Along came some outcast adults that Shadowstalker graciously accepted into the clan.

Blueshadow organized the males to protect their territory as the females gathered supplies. Shadowstalker wandered deeper into the caverns clearing out debris as she goes along. Their clan is one filled with a wide variety of personalities. The nesting ground was heavily guarded especially when eggs were laid. The females never leaving the nest for too long to ensure that the young would survive the harsher land around them.

Shadowstalker was by far the one most commanding figure in this small band of dragons. She was fiercely protective of all she took in though she never discriminated against any of the dragons that came to her. All clan members looked to her to name the dragonlings once they reached maturity, the day they got their name was the day they could hunt for themselves.

The impish fae male that was Blueshadow would help train the youngsters though many weren't as small as he. All the adults seemed to have a part in raising any young that came to the clan be it bred into or found by the great guardian upon her rounds of their borders.

It was encouraged to breed with more than one mate though should a couple find that they were meant to be, they would then be encouraged to stay with each other and the others would not offer anything that was unwanted. Upon the need for sleep many of the clan members would pile close to any nest that had eggs to help keep them warm. A few members would stay up to patrol and even bring in something of interest. Clan members rotated the guard shift though some wouldn't even be sleeping while laying in the pile.

This clan was full of acceptance, affection, welcoming and love. They would always invite the random stranger that wandered close to have a meal, talk and mayhap even stay the night to ensure none of the other Shadows would be in need in their area. Shadowstalker and Blueshadow welcome alliances, friendship and mayhap even deal with a bit of trade to help with the growth and training of the young.

Soon Shadowstalker and Blueshadow decided it was time to move and with the stealth the night gave them, they stole away through lands to The Shifting Expanse to settle into Carrion Canyon. Several pairs were ready to lay eggs and set forth their young into the world, adapting quickly to the new climate.
