The dust of the Barrens hangs in the air, stagnant until it's swirled up by the sweep of a vulture's wing. The ground hums with current just barely insulated from the feet of the creatures who dare stride across it. It is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a hospitable place.

But that inhospitibility is what makes it safe. Safe from what, precisely, is an answer that will change with any dragon you ask, but safe nonetheless. From hunters, from history, from ill-fitting rule. From the Shade-touched dreams of its matr~~iarch~~—

No, no; best not speak of such things. The past is the past and there's no need to call on demons. This place is safe, despite the wildstorms, and for today that's all that matters.

Hi! The name's Archon; I'm an author to feed my heart, an artist to feed my soul, and a CGI dev to feed the rest of this ostensibly mortal coil.

This is primarily a breeding/geneing lair, slowly accumulating lore as my keyboard runs away with me. I've also started casually collecting rescue oldies (born 2016 or earlier) when den space allows.

I do exalt, though it's not my main focus, and I name all dragons exalted or otherwise. If they're sticking around it might take me a little while, though, especially if I picked them up as hatchlings.
