As you travel the Wandering Contagion it often seems devoid of life. What little life you do meet in the way of beastkin is deformed or designed to be resilient against diseases. In the way of dragonkin you found that they were about as deformed in mentality as the wildlife. Their aggression is unnaturally strong even for dragons protecting their territory and clan, and when they are not outwardly aggressive they were plainly wary, critical, and skeptical about your motives and wishes.

The farther you head into the lands of the Plaguebringer the more sparse the life (esspecially dragon life) becomes. As you approach the dreaded Abiding Boneyard you're senses seem to heighten due to the stillness and the silence. Suddenly there is a flicker of hot pink and sky blue as a small female mirror drake streaks by you. You know that mirror drakes are by nature clan dragons not suited to life alone. Despite chasing her however, you soon loose sight of the small female; as you slow to a walk your allow your eyes to wander over your surroundings. They are beginning to change in a way that although not completely obvious to you is enough to make you wary of what is to come. However, you are soon distracted by a clamor from up ahead: hatchlings are making disgruntled noises from being gathered up by their caretaker and other more mature dragons are running around making the necessary preparations to either welcome a newcomer to the clan or perhaps fight off an enemy if that is what must be done.

Waiting for you is a small azure fae dragon crowned with bones who's midnight wings are undulating just fast enough to keep him hovering near the scarred shoulder of a tawny guardian dragon. Despite the light armor worn by both the dragons before you, they are unlike any of those you have met before on your journey through the Plague flight's land. They seem quite at ease without the aggression built out of fear and skepticism which seems to be so prevalent in these parts. "Hello, traveler. My name is Omega, and I am the clan leader of the Doomed Afflictions clan," the calm voice of the fae dragon filters to your ears although it seems little more than a whisper. His red eyes are calm and almost kind, but there is a determination there that even you recognize. It is the determination to protect those he represents. "As long as you mean my clan no harm, make yourself at home for however long you wish, and should you choose to leave we'll make sure your supplies are enough to last you for a time." With these words he turns his back on you and hovers back over to the main gathering of his clan. The final decision is up to you...

Will you stay for a time or perhaps even permanently with this calm or will you go although you will most likely never to find this seemingly friendly clan again?
