"Welcome to Brightsteel Hatchery" Vane, the matron of the clan, greets you. "We are a proud fighting clan and train tirelessly to kill. Sometimes, we lend our skills out for use as paid mercenaries."

"As you have discovered, our lair is well hidden within the Driftwoood Drag. The clan was founded by RedEnvy, a clever Mirror who still lives with us today. Our ranks are made up of outsiders and the offspring of our members. Every dragon must undergo serious testing in order to become a full member of the clan. Hatchlings, when they are born, are inspected by RedEnvy and her mate Scream. If the hatchling is approved, they will begin training once they enter adulthood and, if they complete the course, are guaranteed a place in the clan. It may seem harsh to outsiders, but those who cannot earn their keep or cannot be sold to others don't have a place here and are sent away to the Shadowbinder to enter the divine service. As of now, all of our mercenaries are Wildclaws and the lair keepers are Skydancers. Of course, a Skydancer will always accompany a party to negotiate with clients" Vane explains. She turns to enter the lair, "So what are you interested in?"
