The Monastery, needing no other name, is a place of study and critical thinking. Occupying an entire spire of the Cloudscape Crags, The Monastery works closely with the Arcanist and the Gladekeeper, to document and preserve information about our world and others. Its library is the second largest in all of Sornieth, and its cold-preserved catalog houses a staggering array of artifacts, fossils, magical trinkets, and undocumented relics. Founded by Saav and later his mate Fade, The Monastery is a fully staffed and well-oiled machine that is welcome to all who come to learn or contribute. A small but imposing female Wildclaw, known only as the White Raven, maintains the grounds and creates new tunnels, as well as creating and maintaining the magical constructs that guard.

Iifa Vale is a magically shielded semi-tropical hatchery and nursery at the base of The Monastery. The exact methods known only to the Gladekeeper, the Vale is kept warm and comfortable while bitterly cold winds batter the rest of the Spire. Visiting Druids often take turns tending the hatchlings and teaching the residents how to maintain the lush greenery within. [tbc]
