DecayedCannibal's Clan

Multiple people play flight rising in my house. I also sometimes come on through mobile so if layout seems off let me know and I'll fix it :)

Dragons in the "Banished" tab are for sale and will most likely be listed on the AH but if there is a particular dragon you are interested in then feel free to message (I swear I won't bite!) and we can discuss breeding for hatchlings similar to the parents or perhaps parting with a dragon from the lair. Never know until you try is my motto!

The Decayed Cannibals was founded unwillingly by Nox, a gruff and world weary type of dragon. He never wanted to be part of a clan, in fact, he was quite happy to find a festering pit to curl up in and die. Though the clan is named Decayed Cannibals, the majority of its members aren't actually decaying undead or cannibalistic. They came together and decided early on that the name made them sound scary and imposing and that it would keep trouble away. Although, some of it's members are cannibals but their diets stick mainly to rival clans and enemies who fall to them in battle.

Nox set up base in the Wandering Contagion through no real fault of his own. Years before, too many to count, he had went into hibernation through unknown means and sadly, when he awoke he had no memory of why he had went to sleep in the first place or for how long. The land had been different before, lush and beautiful, bustling with life. It had not become part of the Scarred Wasteland but with time, the Wandering Contagion had corrupted what he knew. When he awoke, the land was ravaged with sickness and death. He was starving and became corrupted with an evil, dark plague. It changed him and he fell into a dark depression. Nox carved out a small set of tunnels and chambers below ground, away from the heavy air fully of toxins and decay.

Over the years Nox closed himself away in his ever growing tunnels, until he found Vex, or rather she found him. She managed to burrow her way in to his life and refused to leave. Over time she made his life better; she made him better and they became family. He was her protector, like an older brother and she was his best friend and little sister. All was well until Vex became deathly ill with a wasting disease. No one in the land seemed able to identify the illness and many healers came from across the lands to investigate. Many studied her, poking and prodding until they gave up, dwindling away until she fell into old news. All the while, Vex continued to wilt away. Eventually, Vex was put into a medically induced stasis which slowed the progression of her sickness. From then on, it became a race against time. Everyone was welcomed by Nox into the lair in an attempt to save Vex. Anyone from outcasts to lost hatchlings and everyone in between, he gave them shelter and took care of them until they were ready to move on and make their own way, or settle down and put down roots within the clan. All he asked of them was that they look after one another, defend the lair from any and all threats, and that they never stop searching for a cure.

The clan is split up into different factions with their own spaces within the lair. Each faction has a specific role to play in keeping the clan afloat in these terrible times. All together, there are seven factions within the clan:

- Decayed Undead are the main dragons who run the clan. They are permanent members and act as a council to make the laws of the lair and keep the clan running smoothly. These dragons can always be found close by clan-leader Nox.

- Feverblooms are the brightly coloured ambassadors of the clan. They travel far from the lair to gather much needed supplies and resources. They form alliance with other clans and notify the lair of any threats within the Scorched Wasteland. Feverblooms are always searching for the best healers to find a cure for the wasting sickness. Do not be fooled by the dragons vibrant colouring as they are toxic to their cores.

- Plaguebearers these dragons are the most skilled warriors the clan have to offer. They are cannibalistic and almost insane with corruption, but they are also loyal and driven. The Plaguebearers defend the clan and their land, going wherever they are needed. These dragons are not to be toyed with and if spotted it is best to simply let them pass without drawing too much attention.

- Necrotic Hearts are the Decayed Cannibals healers. They are at the forefront of medical and magical breakthroughs in curing the many plagues that corrupt the land. They want to protect dragonkind and find a cure to the terrible wasting sickness plaguing the Wandering Contagion.

- The Twisted Dens are the nesting grounds and nursery of the clan. This space is where hatchlings are brought to be raised and protected. Several groups of den mothers take turns raising and teaching the hatchlings.

- The Quarantine Zone is a private space carved into the back of the lair where the terribly sick dragons go to feel better. Many are sent there after complications with a procedure or if their situations have grown worse over a short period of time. Many are out within a week or two with the exception of Vex who is the Zone's only permanent resident.

- The Banished are dragons who have come to the Wandering Contagion and found themselves with the Decayed Cannibals clan. Whether they were lost and are now ready to find their place in the world, or they were hatchlings who are ready to branch out on their own. Some of the Banished are even exiled for breaking rules within the clan; kicked out and disallowed re-entry under any circumstances. For whatever reason, these dragons are preparing to leave the clan and move on to new experiences.
