A story lair collecting 1 generation dragons and attempting to (mostly) play by the nuzlocke rules. RIP me. I wimped out. New goal: two dragons of each element, a fighter and a mage.

Hello out there in dragonland! My name is Keri (she/they) and I love dragons and writing. I am trying to bring those two things together here. I appreciate any tips you have to get started, and if you see me messing up something, or making a poop of myself, feel free to steer me in the right direction.

Deep beneath the calm waves, something is brewing. The remnants of a once-thriving family of dragons settles into the stillness of the sea floor, as the sole survivors - two young and frightened wyrmlings - tentatively emerge to investigate.
What happened to their family and home? Why was this destruction brought upon them, and by whom or what? Why were they spared - was it only luck, or a darker design at work? The questions seem endless, and only multiply as they investigate further.
Oldest of the two, the young fae Nydra has taken it upon herself to lead them to safety, and to uncover the mysteries surrounding their past. While new and untried, she feels the undercurrents of emerging magics within her, and is driven by an insistent pull forward. There is fate at work, she knows, whether for good or ill. With her cohort Adryx, the only other surviving member of their home, beside her she follows the stirrings within her blood, dodging enemies and danger to scrounge up survival among the bones of their ancestors. Only time will tell if the pair will be strong enough to survive, and to grow their family once more.
But something is watching, waiting. There remains an unnatural presence in these dark waters, and it lies in wait for its chance to spring. Far worse than sharks and monsters, it ripples in shadows unseen, seething, observing.
For reasons unknown, or untold, the clan accepts only those without family ties as members, and strictly forbids any pairings that result in offspring. There is no family line to tie together those that call this small clan home, only bonds born of struggle and mutual survival.

Good luck with your nuzloke! I wanted to tell you that the normal [ item = itemnamehere ] code doesn't work in bios. It might look like it does to you, but to everyone else it doesn't and just looks like the plain code.
