THE KOINOBORI
At first, the only sign that you have reached your destination is the sound of a windsock snapping, dissonant after the near complete silence of the bamboo forest. It was a short journey through the woods that marked the end of the Zephyr Steppes, marked only by the whispers of your tired paws on the cool, lush grass, and as you come to the end of the thicket, you see a bright, open sky, filled with colorful fish.The resort is larger than you could have imagined, stretched out along the terraces facing The Sea of a Thousand Currents, the winds mild and pleasantly cool. Made out of mostly bamboo, plentiful as it was on The Windswept Plateau, the resort was organized around an enormous central building, stretching up high and reaching far backwards into the terraces, its splendor impossible to take in all at once. You see an Imperial dragon dozing happily on a balcony closest to you, their tail draping down into the open air. Though still under construction, the Koinobori is none-the-less grand in scale, and the clan that is building it is more than happy to tell you about all of the plans they have for the bustling, but welcoming, hotel.
