Lair Lore
Goldline, previously known to surrounding lairs as BumbleHaven, transformed almost overnight. It was as if some switch had been pulled, and it was never quite the same. For one, there was the newly appearing portal in the middle of what was once a bustling market. The area is still bustling, that's for sure, but now as a travelling center between Goldline Square and the land of the Neighbors.

Imagine, now, the strangest thing you've seen, half asleep before the fire, full after a delicious dinner. Was it a face in the flames? Perhaps a whisper in the trees, or a creak in the kitchen you're sure was devoid of other dragons. Those events are caused by the Neighbors. You might know them as Fair Folk. They are the spirits and dryads, elementals and fay. Most of them mean no harm, simply reveling in the mischief they create.

The barrier between our realm and theirs is thinner than usual here. This mix of magics and energies has had strange affects on the residents of Goldline. They seem to age much more slow than dragons in surrounding lairs; some have transitioned entirely to living with the Neighbors, becoming beings of myth and mundane alike.
