We don't trust you. We won't trust you until you seek approval from our leader. We have no desire to reach out to outsiders.
If you are looking for an ambassador, if you are here uninvited, then you may not stay. Don't look to us for shelter. Turn around now, if you wish to make it back across the Floes before nightfall."

Deep blue eyes hold your gaze, steady as the deep drone of his voice. The imperial, elongated black form stark against the white ice, was the solitary member of the Clan to acknowledge your presence. And even he did not seem pleased about it.

He speaks the truth. The clan before you is a prideful one, arrogant and firm. Each member is bold and sure of his person, his reason for being here, and his loyalty to his clan. A small group, lead by a strikingly composed guardian. A mute. A blinded warrior, whose disabilities only increase her expectations of her clan. And you.
