LORE
A black and green Mirror opened his four shady eyes, and looked around. Tangled brambles surrounded him, and he groaned as he stood. Thorns tore art his wings, causing him to roar in annoyance. In the nearby distance, another roar answered. He lifted his head, turning in the direction of the sound. He lowered his head, planning to tear out of his tangled cage. After he'd freed himself, he bounded towards the roar. He crept towards a clearing, and carefully inspected the scene. A crazed green and blue female Mirror was looming over a baby Mirror, ready to tear her apart. The baby cowered as the adult female sank her teeth into it's wing. The male lunged forward, tackling the female and tearing at her throat. She snarled and sank her teeth into his shoulder, but before she could do any real damage, he ripped out her throat. Blood sprayed across his face and throat, and splattered his chest. She faded to nothingness beneath him, he'd sent her back to his deity. He stepped away from the blood on the ground, and turned to loom over the hatchling. It was not of the shadow element, however she stared at him defiantly. "Come with me." He ordered. She struggled to rise, and he noticed that her hands left gold prints. He dug his claws under the nearest one, and it came up easily, revealing a claw-shaped piece of raw gold. When she saw what he was holding, she shrank away. "I-I'm sorry." She squeaked, holding her palms out. "I-I can control it." He turned the piece over in his talons, before turning back to eye her. After watching her shiver defiantly for a moment, he said gruffly, "Come with me. I'm not afraid." When she still wasn't convinced, he sighed. "I'm not going to kill you." She relaxed and limped towards him. She seemed dizzy, and swayed slightly as she trotted beside him. After a while, her swaying began to annoy him. "Oh, for the love of the Bifrost. Come here." She trailed closer, and he grabbed her. She squeaked in rage until he nudged her onto his back. Something about the way she sighed and curled her small hands against his back made him feel warmer than ever before. He used his wings to shield her from thorns until he broke through into a clearing. The moon broke through the clouds, illuminating fallen marble pillars and bricks. A once beautiful temple had stood here, but the ground was no longer tainted with the sacridity of the deity. He was cautious as he looked around. Someday, he would rebuild it, making his place here. He would need many dragons, but he would wait until Veira was an adult. He knew in his chest cavity/heart that he wanted her as his mate. He slid her off his back, gently resting her in a spot of soft grass. He left to find cobwebs to bind her wounds, and to hunt. As he stalked a rat, his paw stumbled over something hard, and a gleam of metal could be seen. Excited, he forgot the rat and dug frantically, unearthing silver filigree wing guards. The fabric was a green the same shade as his wings, and there was a inscription on the inside. In a scrawling text, it said: 'Loki.' He buckled them onto his wings, and tried the name in his own mouth. "Loki" He hissed, grinning. "My name is Loki."
