A hulking male Guardian towers above you, appraising this trespasser in his territory. He is old, battle worn, implacable, yet in his ancient brown eyes there is wisdom, compassion.
Beside him, a female Tundra smiles patiently; she, too, exudes magical might.
"What is your business here?" the Guardian asks. His booming voice reverberates off the Pillar's crumbling face.
The winds of the barren landscape are strong. You explain you are in need of shelter from the coming storm. You have gems and treasure to offer in return and will leave as soon as the roads are safe to travel.
"Very well. Until the storm passes," he says, turning halfway to the lair's entrance. "But stay any longer and you will be required to contribute to our resources. Come. The sleeping chambers are this way."
