The Aeolians were formed when a young Guardian named Aethyr was Banished from her Clan. Unlike most Wind Dragons, Aethyr was afraid of flying. The Exile's former Clan (The StormRiders) was one of the strictest of all the Wind Clans. Aethyr had to start over. Her closest friend, Dusk, followed her into Exile, and together they began a new Clan. The Aeolians.
