The barely present whisper of falling sand echoes within the endless shelves. They stretch onwards, upwards, everywhere you dare to look. Beneath you the ground shifts at the slightest movement. Despite the appearance of a solid wood floor it feels as though you’re stumbling through dunes, stopping to brush the nonexistent sand from your feet.

No matter how far you stumble, nothing seems to change. A wall of continuous shelving neatly filled with scrolls and tomes, no matter which fork in the road you take when one arrives, another identical crossroads appears mere moments down the path.

The worst part is none of this, no, it’s the haunting, crawling feelings of being watched. As you walk, the shelves above you creak, no matter how high you try to look you cannot see the creature stalking you. You can feel its gaze, you stand in its shadow and you can’t escape.

You can’t remember how you came to be here, but in this place the stories of the world are carefully transcribed and maintained. You may stay and read for a while or stagger onward at your leisure. Do be careful as you pick your path, for taking the wrong one will entice your shadowy stalker down from its perch.

Though by morning this will all be but a fading memory,

Uhm hey just wondering, does anyone have an unwanted Fae? On my wishlist of dragons and NOBODY HAS ONE FOR CHEAP AT THE AUCTIONS!!!!!!! It's frustrating, but yeah looking for free Fae(s)
