The Brokenwing Clan is currently a clan divided. It has been split into the Brokenwing Clan and the Ironhide Faction.


The Brokenwing clan is a clan of Warriors who have dedicated themselves to serving the Icewarden. One might call them Warrior Priests and Priestesses of the Icewarden. The clan grows in number by recruiting from other Flights and other clans.

The clan's former King is Nikolai, a powerful imperial who came to the clan after the original progenitors were displaced and reformed their way of life. He didn't believe in breeding to grow the clan, and instead recruits old dragons from other clans to join Brokenwing. Even after his mind fractured and he was forced to step down, his ideals have lived on.

His Queen wais Firebrand, and his Consort was Judgement, both of them were important leaders in the clan. Firebrand was the dragon that recruited both Nikolai and Judgement to help her rule after the original leaders went to serve the gods. The two of them were often responsible for recruiting new clan members and deciding when it is time for a dragon to leave for another clan. Rarely, Nikolai himself would recruit a dragon personally, usually a new mercenary to train and hire out. Judgement was banished by Nikolai when his mind went, and once Nikolai was dethroned, Firebrand helped establish the clan's new hierarchy.
