this enchanted chunk of forest seems to exist between two realities. time moves differently here, and the ghosts that wander the land seem to be trapped. but the shifters move freely, don't trust a shadow to just be a shadow here

the nomads in the clan wander the desert and worship the sun. but the Dust is dangerous, and not even their goddess can protect them. so they've made a tradition of taming the beasts that live in the dunes guide and guard them.
but the nomads dont know the Dust is an illusion, and they will eventually mutate into beasts themselves. You Must Avoid The Matriarch
