The Dreamer, Lypiphera, was delivered a dire prophecy. So she took the tattered remains of her tribe to the Hewn City where they built their nests and searched for answers. Their numbers swelled as Seekers heard Lypiphera’s call in their dreams. Occasionally, the Dreamer would have visions so powerful that they burst from the aether as their own individual entities. But life among the ruins is treacherous and strange, and only the strongest or the maddest remain to help gather the information they need.

Slowly came the Envoys, each one sent to Lypiphera from their deity. Each one hatched to bring forth gifts... or curses. It was sometimes difficult to tell. Their presence was a clear sign: the Cataclysm was approaching. And then the prophecies of the Tidelord dried up, the world began to remake itself, and flight began to war with flight. An Emperor rose. Lypiphera gathered her followers close and whispered words of encouragement. Now more than ever, it was crucial they continue their search. Change was coming. Terrible and beautiful and final, the prophecy was coming to fruition.
