PsychoKiller's Clan

This Clan history all begins with a single unhatched Mirror egg. It sat alone and deep in the Abiding Boneyard, rocking almost imperceptibly against the skull of a long gone Skydancer. When the first crack appeared, there were no parents, wanderers, or beasts around to see. The Mirror hatchling crept out onto the plane next to the dead skydancer, and as the acidic air pressed into his lungs for the first time, he simply stared, taking in the Plaguebringer's work. Not that he knew who she was, or even what he was, but at this point, all he knew was what was around him. Nothingness. Death.

After two days of stillness, the overwhelming urge to have his teeth pushing into something drove this hatchling to seek other life. The first thing he found was a grub. And then a patch of them. He ate them all. He wandered for a while, growing and eating whatever he could scavenge. The first time he saw another creature that wasn't bite sized was when a pack of Mirrors roaming the Boneyard passed him. He tailed them to the edges of the open wasteland and for the first time, he saw dragons fighting. A large group of young serpentine beasts defended their encampment from the Mirror clan. The dragons wreaked havoc on the creatures, scattering them after killing most. The Mirrors moved on. He young dragon tested his claws and found a great liking in pulling them through the flesh of young beasts. The scattered Serthis, as he learned they were called, and assorted other beasts were no match him. He began tracking and killing for fun as he grew in size and power.

There was a long period of nothingness and death. The Mirror joined no passing groups and refused to learn their ways. They would hold him back. He wanted to lead, and Mirrors would not be lead. At some point, he crossed paths with a female guardian who was willing to fight behind him. They found their way out of the Scarred Wasteland and into the Tangled Wood. Along the way, the Mirror dragon gained a reputation as a killer who attacked beasts and dragons alike. He was known to move at night, or in fog since his scales blended in. Through this, he gained his name: Fog. His, by now, mate chose to call herself Shira.

They traveled around, slowly picking up dragons they felt could be useful. They set up a camp to house the recently pregnant Shira. While Fog was away on a particularly long hunting trip, Shira laid three of his eggs. Before he returned, a group of harpies attacked the camp. Shira tried leading them into the sky while the clan that had stayed to protect her defended the eggs on the ground. Laying her eggs left her weak and she couldn't stop a harpy colliding with her wing. The bone crunched. She fell to her death.

When Fog returned and found out, he raged against clan dragons. During this period of blind rage, he wiped out all prey life around the camp, forcing the clan to move. They settled on a clearing between three massive trees. Below the clearing, roots over time has formed a small hollowed out cave system large enough to house around 50 dragons. The clan grew and eventually, some dragons had to build shelters around the clearing and even in the tree branches.

Shira's three eggs hatched healthy and Fog calmed down, his anger towards the world now a simmering pit. The mirror hatchlings, two females and a male, were named rose, Kaitaka, and Kayden. Kayden did not survive his youth. To this day, the clan grows and was only recently named Shatterclaw. Fog goes by "Alpha" as a sign if respect. Dragons from every species, from far and wide come to join the clan, but only few survive the tests they are put to. Not one dragon in the clan is free from the title of killer, however a clan dragon killing another from within the clan might just be killed themself.

Hunting groups
Occasionally groups go out to hunt in farlands to let animals around camp reproduce. These groups are usually led by the Alpha's eldest: rose. She has grown up just as violent as would be expected.

Elemental dragons
In fighting, clan Shatterclaw benefits from the powers harnessed from several deities represented by certain clan members. Fog is gathering a full groups to use the god-like dragons' powers.
