Silvain's Clan

My clan lives in a network of caves in- y'see that plateau with a small spire at the very top of the map? That's where our caves are. It was painstakingly dug out by some of the larger dragons, and due to the artificial construction, is mostly held up by intricate, sleek scifi-esque metal beams.

There's a few major activity hubs- the hoard cavern, the research lab cavern (which currently holds two separate tanks with Maren in them for Caliban's research), and the cafeteria- and then private caves for bedrooms and private labs and similar. Much of the cave floors are covered in pelts & hides from clouddancers, elk, and otters (but no wolf pelts, because the clan leader's family keep canine familiars & treat them basically as we treat dogs- very much beloved pets).

We have three major exits- the primary one, which is at the top of the plateau, and leads down a spiraling tunnel into the entry cavern, the hunter's launch cavern, which exits high on the cliff face for hunting parties & other battle activity to launch from, and which contains much of our armor cache, and a hidden emergency exit on the cliff face, much closer to the ground where it's safest from harpy attack.

EDIT- Before we moved to the plateau, though, we had a large glass-and-metal facility- basically a bunch of interconnected buildings- up against the cliff wall of Carrion Canyon. Many of the clan miss the openness of it, but with the number of harpies up here, underground caves are safer than living aboveground.

Most of my clan are some sort of scientists or researchers, actually (or at least the ones who have defined jobs). There's a team researching beastclans (for the purpose of Understanding The Enemy), a few engineers (okay, a lot of engineers), a medic/healer, and- actually, a bulleted list would work better.

• Beastclan Researchers (Kene, Caliban, Lessa, with Caliban as the lead scientist on the project)
• Engineers (basically anyone without a job designation, but also specifically Daren, Tempest[who is also heir to the leadership of the clan], Tron, and Keller)
• Medic/Healer (Marduk)
• Virologist (Hekate)
• Shade research & combat specialist (Gadiel)
• Botanists (Fireball, Gabriella, Symphyotrichum) & Botanist Intern (Isla)
• Marine Biologists (Nessie & Oceanus)
• Ornithologist (Avery)
• Archaologist (Canyon)
• Historian (Sutekh)
• Magical Study Researchers (basically any dragon I feel should be a mage except my healer- Regulus, Salazar, Morgan, Morena, Cedrella, Vadimas, Myrddin... I think that's all of them)
• Clan Leaders (Alex & Octavia, who both dabble in engineering as well)

Actual clan duties are divided more by who's available than by specialty, unless something is definitely someone's area (for example, Canyon handles most of the digging & scavenging work, while the botany team does foraging, the marine biologists do the fishing because they know what's safest to take, etc.) which means trade duties fall to whomever isn't busy, with the exception of scroll sourcing, which falls to the mages (and usually to Regulus, as the mate to the clan leaders' heir, Tempest).

Oh! And we have a couple pirates (Extraordinary & Princess) who do a good portion of the trading & deliveries as well.
