a clan of mercenaries, and those who have need of them. they maintain a series of floating islands chained to the land below -- but when maintenance fails, or the desire strikes, they drift in and out.

My finals are two months away but it's the last week before Christmas break and I still have an entire thesis to write x_X and it's not exactly going well. ugh.
