About Me Hello! I'm CanisChiroptera, but you can call me Canis, Cani, or Emily! I'm a proud Water Flight member! I'm a young artist from Canada with a passion for science! I'm currently working under the BC Community Bat Program as a regional coordinator, organizing and participating in bat counts, educating the public on bats, and assisting in scientific research. I am fully vaccinated and trained to handle bats! I have a deep love for biology and the beauty of the world, which I reflect in my art. I'm decently experienced and have been drawing for pretty much my entire life, take a look at my DeviantArt if you'd like! It'd be much appreciated! Oh, I'm also a huge nerd! Currently crazy into Gravity Falls, but I also have great affinities for the Binding of Isaac, Starbound, Harry Potter, Pokemon, and a bunch more. We call ourselves the Tidarida (pronounced "tide-ah-ree-dah), coming from a combination of the words tide and Tadarida, a genus of free-tailed bats.
Established by Equinox and Onix (exalted), the Tidarida are a friendly group of dragons that take residence between the Tsunami Flats and Fishspine Reef, housed in a gorgeous underwater cave. Despite living in the Water Flight, many times the dragons will be out-and-about in any number of places, being quite the inquisitive and varied bunch.
As their namesake suggests, the Tidarida deeply value Chiroptera, seeing them as misunderstood, fascinating, vastly important creatures that need protection. Equinox believed that these non-magic beings were as closely linked to dragonkind as a, well, non-magic being could be, and so she wanted to know more. Currently the Tidarida have a magically sealed-off, immense room where they house a mixed bat colony, for studies and friendship alike.

To Admins:
I sometimes play on my iPad or my phone, and I share an IP with my brother, @Boopidee. Every now and again I'll even be on my desktop computer, but it's not often. I also sometimes send dragons back and forth with Boopidee to hatch nests when my lair is full.
