Awesome! Native plants are fun, especially since you can go out in the world and say "I know that plant!" Part of my class was seedling ID so at the end I adpoted two native prairie plants that are thriving at home now, including A. ludoviciana.

It isn't silly! I had a field botany class and now I'm nuts about native plants. Heck, my professor had a classmate that swore he'd name his daughter Artemisia ludoviciana after white sage. No confirmation if he's had a daughter yet, sadly.

I'm sad because my area is probably going to lose all ash because of emerald ash borer within the next few decades. Nooooooo! You better not be lost to them too!
