grumpelstiltskin's Clan

This clan is ruled primarily by Serena, since it was her idea to travel to the Lesser Lair of the Crystalspine Reaches; and of course after the clan grew, they all had to move again. She, Declan and Anastasia are the three original founders. If you are curious about her, please check out her backstory. This was a completely open clan, meaning that other breeds and element affiliations can move into the lair; but disruption (such as preying on other members) will not be allowed. However, when Helical joined the lair, the council agreed that Helical would freak out if pearlcatchers were allowed into the lair. It is not particularly difficult to maintain this restriction, since very few, if any, pearlcatchers would be interested in living in such a casual lair! Also, everyone is a bit creeped out by all of the possible plague contagions, so potential members from that flight would have to undergo an intense exam by Borrichius and Audrey.


August 12, 2019:
After a disquieting year of divorces and dissolutions of long-term relationships, another possible catastrophe has befallen the clan. It is nearly everyones fault, we weren't vigilant. Bonnie and Clyde, after years together jumped onto a nest. So much time spent persuading the pair that later would be better. Now it is too late for all of us, everyone guard your posessions! At least until we can drop the babies off somewhere, ah, I'm sorry, that is until we can find them loving homes.

June 2017, the conspiracy theorists are up in arms again (and they have good reason this time), four Coatls have recently joined the lair; and four Coatl eggs are about to hatch. The one lone Imperial to recently join doesn't seem to much matter. The council, along with the Guardians and Snappers will have to closely observe our two conspiracy theorists, and help them to remain calm. Some dragons!

Christmas day 2018, we finally added two dragons with Obsidian and Fire colors to help celebrate Halloween. I was so relieved when Bakuguo passed his pestilence examination, and was deemed safe to join the lair. Since he was named after a rather explosive character from "My Hero Academia", I named his mate Tsuyu, aka "frog girl". I think she will dampen his spirit when needed.

For my more personal information, the name "grumpelstiltskin" comes from a nickname that I call my daughters lizard. Since she can be such a grumpy little bearded dragon, but also very sweet at other times. Grumpy people may need their own motto: "if you never complain about anything, maybe you are not paying attention!" Surely there is something worth complaining about once in a while: traffic, spouse, school? Take your pick, you have a right to be grumpy sometimes, just not all the time. There needs to be some time for dreams.
