Founded as a religious group by the long-exalted Aibileen and her mate Maelgwyn, Clan Ashbright aimed to serve the Flamecaller with the same deep devotion that motivated the clan's founders. That era didn't last. Struck by grief after his mate was exalted, even though it was what she wanted, Maelgwyn stepped down as clanleader and handed the position to a young, intelligent imperial named Zilean. Under his rule, the name Ashbright became synonymous with a brand of vicious fighting that he led the clan into, sometimes undoing centuries of other clans' work in a few days, burning hoards and bringing ruin to those around him. Despite the period of violent warfare under Clanleader Zilean, Clan Ashbright emerges- under a new leader- once more into Sornieth society not for battle, but for the sake of expanding and forging friendships so as to serve their beloved goddess. This task has proven difficult, as Zilean's warmongering ways left devastation in his wake, and many clans cannot forgive what was done.
The current clanleader, Clanleader Alexerion, is doing his best to mend Clan Ashbright's reputation, but knows that it may be far too late for that. However, with the guidance of one of the clan's founders, Maelgwyn, and some of the most loyal dragons in the Waste, he's going to try as hard as he can.
Perhaps there is some life left in the smouldering ruins of what once was. Only time will tell.

I bought one of Arcturus/Tydepool's kids and ended up sitting and reading your lore for a bit, haha. I like what you've got, I'll have to come back and check again in the future :D
