So you seem to have stumbled upon the Starless Chasm, the home of the Lucent Cosmos. Inside, you will find dragons of all shapes and sizes, all walks of life. Noble warriors, majestic healers, brilliant scholars--you’d think this a clan of high standing. After all, they offer their services for the good of Sornieth, helping their fellow dragon in their time of need. But their services do not come cheaply; no, they come when the offer is right. Should one require the assistance of the knights, or the abilities of the healers? Well, look no further, so long as you can pay tribute for their services!

But alas, their cavern hides a deep, dark secret, for within the stony walls lies the Mystics. Powerful mages of old, with abilities and talents rarely seen across Sornieth. They have herded together to protect themselves, to save their scales from destruction. Many of these talents are bewildering to the common dragon. Fortune tellers, fate predictors, hypnotists, and others lie among their ranks. But, all powers come with a price. Some are lucky, and merely face piercing aches of the mind. Others, not so much, and suffer from full insanity. They seek a cure to their condition--or at least a cure from the pain that blights them.

But, with so many who would see them dead, so many who would have their heads for simply existing, they cannot do this in the public eye. No, they are forced to hide away, seeking safety in their cavern. After all, with the protection of the knights, and the healing of the mages, they can survive, at least for some time. But, how long until they are discovered? How long until they are chased from their home, forced to retreat into the wilds? Time will tell. Hopefully, a cure can be found in time…
