OutrealmWanderer's Clan

In the World of Sornieth, special dragons are chosen by the deities for a grand purpose: to go out into the wilderness and establish clans, to spread the power and influence of their specific deity.

This was the task given to Errila and Rashkyr. With the graces of the Lightweaver, they set out from the Beacon and found land not far from the fabled Sundial Terrace. The beginning was rough, as it was for all fledgling clans. Yet they were fortunate to have settled near a trade center such as the Terrace, where they found support from many travelers. They found a great ally in a clan from the Arcane lands, who offered knowledge and dragons to their cause.

As time passed, their clan grew in strength and numbers. Many they raised within their lair answered the call of the Lightweaver and left with honor to serve her and the Flight. Some elected to travel as missionaries or emissaries to other elemental Flights, to spread goodwill and faith. Those that remained dedicated themselves to the pursuit of truth as a proper Light clan would. Errila and Rashkyr began to take a back seat, allowing the clan to find their direction and purpose as they would. They remained the clan’s matriarch and patriarch, while the shoulder of leadership eventually came to rest on the shoulders of Iloria.

Eventually, the clan outgrew their place near the Terrace, and moved to the outer edges of the Mirrorlight Promenade—near the ruins of the Hewn City.

Here is where real strife came into their lives, when Iloria began research into the matters of the heart, and the balance between Light and Dark…

Perhaps if they had not taken the Pearlcatcher named Ghost into their midst, things would have been different. Their clan would not be splintered into factions across the Promenade and the City. Hearts would not have been broken, and lives spared from torture. What has been done is done, however, and Iloria has accepted responsibilities, and continues to pray to the Lightweaver for hope and direction.

As she firmly believes, the Lightweaver will always provide a Light even in the deepest darkness.
