In the outskirts of the domains of The Plaguebringer, sits the small town of Promise. Previously living a nomadic lifestyle at the Windswept Plateau, the dragons of this clan only have recently settled in the Scarred Wasteland, naming their now-home after the hematite monument that sits at the center of the town, where the clan’s Firstborns received the land as their reward for services perfomed in the name of a (self-proclaimed) envoy of the Plaguemother. The town is fertile ground for mushrooms and other fungi, so the clan cultivates a diversity of these said fungi and also plants, be medicinal, poisonous or edible, with which they established living and commerce. In this budding city several different families, breeds and kinds of dragons reside, for the work to be done is abundant; amongst the citizens, some families can be found carrying out specific duties, such as the Shepherds of the Deep and the House of Sunrise and Dawn, who keep to the borders and trade, or the Marrow Menders who tend to the mushroom garden and healing, amongst others.
