that was before they traded half their coffee stores to the terrifyingly competent Kate, discovered that several dragons had excitedly rebuilt portions of the rigging, and acquired a bored medic tired of looking after the minor-explosion-prone scientists. They over-caffeinate and under-hydrate and they'll spill bromide in their fur and think that spilling saponin over the top of it is a logical solution to the problem. They needed managing.
