After becoming lost in the dusty nauseating haze, wanderers will eventually stumble upon a mountain deep in the heart of the desert. Here, troubled and nearly feral dragons of an unnamed flight occupy the mountainside. Those strong enough to withstand the endless wind should scrounge for whatever meager sustenance they can find, while the weak reside on the still side on the mountain and languish away over their nests.

All dragons here share one commonality, being their inability to fit in anywhere else. Isolation takes its toll, and constant rejection has made those in this strange flight mistrustful and jaded. Some bear mental scars from past wars, a mental chastity that dooms them to repeat the same cycle of self destruction day after day. Others carry a criminal past, or some dark secret. Whatever their reason for being here, newcomers find it best not to question it. Fighting is a daily occurrence, with dragons often fighting to the death at the base of the mountain. Bodies are left to rot, and by morning, the bones are always picked clean.

Far beneath the mountainside lay endless caves rife with gold and precious gemstones. The elder dragons of this flight lay slumbering in hibernal dens carefully carved into the stone. The caves are sealed, and their names are seldom spoken by anyone within the flight. It is clear this flight is in decline, with only a handful of dragons loyal to the elders or their leader.
