Age: 23
Species: Mountain lion from the center of the continent
Alignment: Feral
Residence: Near the Elder Tree, but she wanders around
Human appearance: Nightshade has big, reflective, gray-green eyes with slit pupils that all felines share. She has slightly longer canine teeth, her eyes give her decent night vision, and she has a slightly enhanced sense of smell, but that's it for her animalistic qualities. As for her full human ones, she has shoulder length blonde hair, is pretty slim, and she has a faint burn-scar on her left side and up her left arm. She stands at about 5'8". ((Woah, man, rather large picture, sorry about that!))

Animal appearance: Nightshade's mountain lion form is just your everyday mountain lion, except with faint burn scars up her left front leg and left rib. She has excellent smell, night vision, and hearing, and is very agile.

Personality: Nightshade is usually very calm, cool, and collected, but easily aggravated. She's not afraid to cause physical harm, and will always fight, never flee. She tends to avoid social interaction, but when she does interact with others she tends to assume the leader position, and will always want to make the decisions. Although she may seem cold at first, when you get to truly know her, she will treat you like family. She has a deep appreciation for the forest and other animals, but despises humans just as much, if not more.
Extra: Nightshade had two cubs, a boy and a girl, but the two passed due to a sudden wildfire caused by humans not putting out their campfire. Nightshade tried desperately to save them, but it was too late. She was burned physically and mentally, from then on despising humans and vowing to never turn into her human form unless absolutely necessary, and to get revenge for what they'd carelessly done to her young family. She moved away from her old home to escape the reoccurring nightmares, and to hopefully find others to join her cause.

((Totally didn't copy your posting format, nooooooo...))
Nightshade | she / her | feral mountain lion | base of the Elder Tree
Nightshade was sleeping peacefully until it started to rain. A drop splashed on pink nose, effectively waking her up. She grumbled to herself as she stood up, dug her claws into the dirt, and stretched her back. Afterwards, she examined her surroundings, admiring the white fog that hung in the air not six feet away. Already the fog and rain was making her fur damp and matted, but that wasn't something to be concerned about at the moment. The best plan of action would probably be to search for food, seeing as her stocks were empty. The problem was, the humidity dampened not only her fur, but also her sense of smell, meaning that she would need to search manually. Sighing, her long tail flicking slightly, the mountain lion treaded through the forest to look for a decent sized meal.

{ it's all good my dude ;)
Oke | they/he | rogue coyote | North woods, southern stream
Oke made a stop on his way to Pineford. He reached the stream just east of the tree-house, and he stopped, kneeling on the rocks to look into the water. Of course, he'd been looking for breakfast, but all he saw staring back at him was his reflection, torn and distorted from the ripples of the current and the rain. His face was a strange thing; so many memories were locked in his freckles and his eyes, and all so distant he sometimes forgot that face was even his. In the distance, he heard the sounds of school bus breaks squealing.

Also I've pinged everyone who hadn't posted yet incase they never got a chance to subscribe.))
Julius King | he/him | Domestic dog | Convenience store, southwest of town
Julie woke up to the rhythmic beating of rain against his window. He closed his eyes again and let out a groan that turned into a yawn before finding his phone under one of his pillows; he found that he had slept through his alarm and his second alarm would sound in three minutes. Luckily he didn't need to turn up for work until evening, well, it was his job's fault that he had such a messed up sleep cycle, and one of the reasons he was laid off from his other job. Not seeing the point of staying in bed any longer, he got up to go through his morning routine.
It wasn't until after he had boiled water that he found the coffee tin empty. He could go for the bland coffee the gas station offered, but -he checked the clock -he still had a lot of time to go out and do things. He threw on a raincoat, making sure to check that he had everything, and headed out. It was a short walk between the town's stores and his apartment but Julie took it slowly, the rain and lack of coffee being a damper on his mood. He also found that his sense of smell had dulled and briefly wondered if this was how humans experienced things.
Julie didn't stop to look around the town and headed straight for the convenience store. He did, however, take a moment to read over the notices near the entrance, but really he was only interested in one notice in particular. Among the ads posted was his own, advertising an opening for a roommate. He had a few more posted around town but he didn't know if they would survive the rain, at least this one was safe from the weather. He had hoped someone would've at least called about it by now, but really when did things ever go his way?

Jay
he/him | human | friend's house, residential area
Jay's eyes flickered opened and he sat forwards, noticing he had kicked his quilt onto the floor. Slipping out of his sleeping bag and getting off of the couch, he began to pack up. His friend's were used to him leaving early, but he made sure to always leave a note. Placing quilt and sleeping bag into his backpack, he entered the kitchen and took a seat at the table, starting his note. It was nice to write and listen to the rain beat on the window, but he was also filled with dread. He really needed to buy an umbrella. Setting his message on the counter, he slipped his boots on and laced them up, before opening the door and slipping out. He didn't see anyone on the streets when he began to walk.
Jay needed to go to the local laundromat, but that was all the way across town in the southwest area. He was tired, and now he was wet and cold. Running a hand through his tangled hair, he quickened his pace. Maybe he could slip into a store to get warm and slip back out again. He considered the idea of camping for the night, but he needed to clean his clothes and get himself some food before going to work later tonight. He let out a heavy sigh.
Luke
he/him | elk rogue | coffee shop, southwest area
Luke sat quietly in the corner of the coffee shop, wall to his back and the rows of windows on his left. He could see the entire street corner from here and all of the customers in the shop. In his hands was a warm cup of coffee. He was enjoying the rain and decided to linger a bit longer than he intended, maybe wait the weather out.
I doubt it'll stop anyways. He thought, taking a sip of his drink. The bags beneath his sharp eyes were rather prominent. Somehow, he was managing to keep a good mood, but he had an inkling of a feeling something was going to go wrong sooner or later.

roanokeee do clothes shift with the person or do they have to change clothes every time they shift?
Sarah | she/her | Domestic Rattlesnake | House, residential area
Sarah gazed at the rain with a pang of sadness. Right about now, her family should be using the rain to find new territory, not be cooped up in the very thing that displaced them. Glancing at her parents' homework they had given her only made her feel sick. She paced around her room, trying to get rid of her frustrations. She quickly grabbed her coat and a bottle of anti venom for emergencies and headed outside, hoping the rain'll make her feel better.
After nearly falling asleep in the street, Sarah decided to stop at the coffee shop for some coffee. Winter was almost here, and with it brought constant lethargy and cold. After paying for her coffee, Sarah sat down on one of the tables. Resisting the urge to shift and wrap herself around the warm cup, she took a sip and watched the people walk by through the windows.

Oke | they/he | rogue coyote | coffee shop, southwest Pineford
Eventually, Oke rose from the stream and made his way through Pineford. If he was going to have to get a job, he knew one place that was for sure almost always hiring—and with low standards too. It was a little coffee shop, somewhere between a hole in the wall and a bed and breakfast without the bed. It was as much as you would expect from a local, small town coffeehouse. Most people called it small and cheap. Oke preferred cozy and affordable.
Before he entered, Oke tugged his jacket straight, threw back his hood, and ruffled his hair into somewhat neatness. Outside, the "hiring" sign hung still, taped against the window beside the door, all yellowed with age. Sometimes it was a mystery if they ever took it down.
The first thing to hit Oke as he stepped through the glass door was the warm air, thick with the sweet smell of coffee. The second thing was a presence. Oke looked around as he walked up to the counter, scrounging up the few dollars he had saved up in his bag to pay for a mocha. The sweet-tongued barista handed him his drink and he thanked her as he turned.
He looked around before he sat, his amber eyes flicking from one side to the other. Most customers sat on phones or laptops, enjoying what little WiFi the cafe offered. There was a pair, there was a group of friends getting coffee before school, there was a man intently tapping at the keyboard on his laptop with a loud click click click click click that seemed to echo off the windows.
And then there were two others. Two that sat alone, staring out the window.
One was a scruffy middle aged man, the other a short girl barely older than Oke himself.
Beasts.
So Oke sat, with his amber eyes and sharp teeth, at a table directly between the two.
