Just curious how people prepare and make money during the holiday. I make the majority of mine from selling eggs :D

Selling chests the first few days because people really want to get their hands on them! Then I open some and sell whatever is good out of them and then go back to selling chests and their trade units.

Sell Baldwin mats, particularly Silver Muck and the red mats since those are used to make the Strange Chest (x2) recipe.

basically coli-ing until your fingers bleed and keeping all the eggs until like june then selling them, summer time is usually the highest prices for eggs from what i can tell, and if theres any new apparel(fingers crossed) then you should hoard as many sets as possible because if they contain anything really popular like the ghost flame candles or cobwebs then you can make so much profit.
baldwin really helps, tbh you should start reducing as many things as possible in your spare time until notn starts so you can make alot of chests or sell the mats

I'm pretty sure that you make more money by selling them at a flat rate, rather than hoping for a rare drop. (Same goes for eggs.) And I'm not super into Nocturnes, so I'd rather take the cash and put it somewhere else. Like my apparel problem.
Speaking of which, impulse buying apparel actually works out. I bought way too much of the flame sets last year and liquidated it over the summer for a bit more than I paid for it. So if you're patient, you can invest.

Collecting eggs + noct scrolls and selling them later. Also maybe get a gem apparel bundle or two and sell those later, when they're cycled out.
