She started out as a basic/basic/basic gen 1 guardian. I bought her for like 25kt? When I first gene'd her, she became: Snapper (325000t) Ripple (250000t) Current (165000t) Gembond (200000t) First round of genes totalled : 715000t THEN, I traded her away for another gen 1. Flash forward, I regretted trading her away so when the person put her up for sale, I bought her for I think 450kt? Then I regened her into her current form, Coatl: 2000g Vipera: (235000t) Peregrine (140000t) Her second round, including her cost totalled: 825000t + 2000g. .....making her complete total cost for me, 2,365,000t + 2000g, which if we convert the gems into treasure at a 1:660 rate is 1,320,000... Making her TOTAL cost in treasure, 3,685,000t She cost me 3.685 million treasure lmao Her accent is I think retired and on the AH usually for around 2000g, so adding another 1320000t to her total count lmao, meaning she cost me 5 million treasure.[/center]

She has been a scatter project from the moment I got her. I think I'm done scattering her now, though. All in all Blodwen has managed to get her claws on [b][u]34 scatterscrolls[/u][/b]. [item=Tri-Color Scatterscroll][size=2] x 34 multiplied by 350 = [b]11,900 gems[/b]. Her breed change and her genes all costed a total of [b]646,000[/b] T with the full discount. Now, using the current gem to treasure ratio of 660... 11900 * 660 = 7,854,000 million treasure. Add the 646kt... Blodwen has cost me [b]8,500,000[/b] god damn treasure. And I'm not even done with her. She used to have the Lightrunes accent, so I'm desperately going to have to find that again now with her gorgeous colors. @chrissy

Over what time period did you complete this scatter project?
Hm, period of time, let me see if I can find when I began to scatter her. I guess it was after I sold Vic (now Vladimir) to Faileas here. Blodwen was to be his mate, but I simply couldn't get the magenta tertiary to work.
After I sold one dragon, she stayed with me for a while, a single-gened ridgeback with no mate. So, around September was when I began scattering her.

And how did you save up all that treasure?
It wasn't hard, I offsite trade a lot and I kind of would buy one here and there, not really worrying about it. It was definitely a, "oh, I don't like her colors, maybe I'll get her another one." But it kept going like that. It never really occured to me that I was basically throwing my gems into the trash.

Did you ever feel regret whilst doing this and what drove you to continue?

There was a point in time where I actually scattered her into a Tomato/Maize/Maize. I love maize, but tomato is the one color I will not tolerate in my lair. I thought about it; everyone told me to stop my scatters and just keep it. But... Tomato. As soon as I scattered her from that I got blue ranges and oh boy did I want to exalt her then and there. With every scroll I kept beating myself up over it, "WHY DID YOU SCATTER A DOUBLE MAIZE?"
I think what drove me was the fact that I really wanted a dragon that was perfect and I would stop at nothing to get it. I considered stopping again when she reached midnight/aqua/platinum (because of the matching eyes), but I figured hey, I spent so much on her, why not keep trying?
I ain't no quitter. And finally she reached an acceptable color range, with my favorite red range, too! Red!
