Born and raised in a tight-knit clan in the Starfall Isles, Tauran was practically destined to become a powerful mage. It was clear that the Arcanist thought something of him from the moment he hatched; eyes blazing and runes glowing across his forehead like an illuminated brand. It caused quite the stir in his small clan, and his clanmates treaded carefully around him as if they were worried they'd upset the Arcanist if they so much as looked at him wrong.

Tau, to nobodies surprise, picked up magic quickly and with ease. With careful mentoring and long hours spent studying, he learnt to control his powerful magic and channel it into something he was keenly interested in; nature.

He left his clan in the Starfall Isles out of keen interest to learn more and discover what his magic could do. His initial intention was to stay within the Isles, but soon he felt compelled to travel further. He currently resides in Verivala, where his magic piqued the interest of the local devout cultist and resident herbalist. He aids the Healer when needed and in turn, the old mage will give Tau some of his own knowledge in the form of both books and quiet lessons.
