This practice has managed to get them in trouble more then once, but regardless of the past deceptions she will not any call for help. She is fluent in several Beast languages, in particular the Serthis and Marin languages whose hisses and whistles best mirror her own language. Arriani can be a bit cold when first encountered, but she can not usually keep that facade up for long. Deep down she longs to smile, laugh, and just in general enjoy all the pleasures of life. Being serious is almost a painful act for one so full of joyful life. Though, that does not mean she can't do it. In fact, when her crew and ship are threatened she can be down right wrathful. The crew that have seen her fight have likened her to the sea itself. His explanation of it changes every time he tells it). He captains the Flying Swordfish, Savik's second ship. This Pearlcatcher is both playboy and prankster wrapped in a bundle of jittery energy that just won't stop. Many tease that he is the son of Spiral dragons and he has yet to confirm or deny these allegations. Jobo is always eager to meet new drakes (especially if he's found an attraction with them) and is often found in the taverns during shore leave. He's a heavy drinker and does have quite the sailor's mouth. He's actually worse then Savik. He's the only one with any real weapons training among Savik's captains. He is a master swordsman and as proof carries a cutlass he forged himself (or that is the story anyway). Regardless of whether or not he forged his weapon it is clear he knows how to use it. Jobo is exceptionally deadly in a fight and has been known to use that skill in the defense of his crew and ship. He enjoys bickering with Arriani as often as possible and she finds him absolutely incorrigible . Though they argue often one would be hard pressed to find better friends. Jobo is loyal to his crew, Savik, and the clan. Interesting note: He doesn't need the eye patch. According to him it just adds mystery that attracts a wide array of dragons. In fact, she has been known for chasing crew members around the boat with a wrench in one hand and threatening a good wack if they stepped foot into her engine room again. All in all, she is a good drake that cares for her crew mates and captain almost as much as her ship. Darcy is not afraid of a fight and can utilize her tools for weapons if need be (though she doesn't like putting dents in them by doing so).[/columns] [columns]Costello: Navigator Costello is a very well educated Guardian, which puts him apart from most of the crew. That fact does not make him feel superior, however. On the contrary, Costello is a very humble fellow, who respects everyone on the ship for what they contribute to the whole. He is often found with a smile on his face and a pleasant word slipping from his lips. Costello, Cost to the crew, has no issue with getting his hands dirty and helping the crew get their job done. When not toiling about on the deck he is in the captain's chambers charting their course and ensure they stay on it. He's a master of the stars and maps and has never once gotten the crew lost... well there was that one time, but that's a different story. He's not much of a fighter, but will stand up for his friends and family.[nextcol] 39564259[/columns] [columns] 39029093[nextcol]Luke: Ship's Cook There has never been a jollier Nocturne, nor an odder one. He is never without a story or a shanty and when he's not cooking he's enthralling the crew with his many "experiences". Many of the crew think he's a bit touched in the head, and that might be true, but they would have no other as their cook. Mostly because hes the best darn cook in Sornieth. In a fight he's a little bundle of fury that will roll over anyone in his way.[/columns] [columns]Seran: Rigger/Lookout DO NOT, for any reason, do not underestimate this Fae's strength! More then one sailor, friend and foe alike, have ended up face down in the dirt for it. Seren's position on the ship is to make sure the Sails are properly secured and maintained at all times. When he is not concerned over the upkeep of his sails he's up in the crow's nest, keeping a close eye on the seas or the clouds as it may be. Because of his work high up on the ship he's not around many drakes. This causes him to be a bit anti-social at times. He does not approach drakes on his own, but those willing to approach him will find a soft hearted, and soft spoken gentleman who can indeed be likable. Being serious is almost a painful act for one so full of joyful life. Though, that does not mean she can't do it. In fact, when her crew and ship are threatened she can be down right wrathful. The crew that have seen her fight have likened her to the sea itself. An ever shifting mistress that can at one minute be soothing and gentle and the next a violent maelstrom hell bent on destroying everything in its path. Very loyal to her crew, Savik, and the clan.

Captain Jobo (A.K.A Thoreau-- No one really knows how he acquired the nickname Jobo.

Darcy: Mechanic/Boatswain
Darcy is responsible for the upkeep of the ship and all her mechanical parts as well as overseeing the on boarding and off boarding of all cargo. She is a bit rough around the edges, which has made her a serious, no nonsense drake. When it comes to her ship she doesn't play around. In fact, she has been known for chasing crew members around the boat with a wrench in one hand and threatening a good wack if they stepped foot into her engine room again. All in all, she is a good drake that cares for her crew mates and captain almost as much as her ship. Darcy is not afraid of a fight and can utilize her tools for weapons if need be (though she doesn't like putting dents in them by doing so).

Costello: Navigator
Costello is a very well educated Guardian, which puts him apart from most of the crew. He's not much of a fighter, but will stand up for his friends and family.

Luke: Ship's Cook
There has never been a jollier Nocturne, nor an odder one. Luke loves the sun and has been known to stay out all day until his scales are dry and brittle. He loves fish, even though the food doesn't agree with him. He is never without a story or a shanty and when he's not cooking he's enthralling the crew with his many "experiences". Many of the crew think he's a bit touched in the head, and that might be true, but they would have no other as their cook. Mostly because hes the best darn cook in Sornieth. In a fight he's a little bundle of fury that will roll over anyone in his way.

Seran: Rigger/Lookout
DO NOT, for any reason, do not underestimate this Fae's strength!
