As you walk into the cavern, you hear many excited voices echoing against the walls. Most of these voices sound like hatchlings while others sound as though they could be adults. At the corner of your eye, you see a light colored female Guardian with dark runes adorning her hide and a Velvet Floral Cat walking beside her.
"Ah, you must be looking for Hestia if you're at this cave. She's with some hatchlings at the moment, teaching them about the FlameCaller, these lands, and our Lairs history. My name is Resh by the way and this is Cinder," she says looking at her familiar. "Let me take you too her, Hestia has done much for our lair since the Salamanders awoke, but I'll let her explain."
After walking a small distance, you come to a fairly large cavern where hatchlings of all types and colors can be found listening to a female Coatl at the very front of the room. At first glance, you don't notice anything, but as you look closely you see that her colors match those of the Flamecaller and that to the side of the room is a male Coatl with the same coloration but different markings.
"Ah, you seen Hestia and Vulcan? They're siblings who woke not long before the Salamander's came to our lair from the depths of the volcano. Vulcan tends to work in the forge and Hestia, as you see, teaches the young of our lair. Now then, it looks like Hestia has finished with today's lesson."
As Resh says this, the hatchlings start moving near the caverns exit. The youngest chattering excitedly amongst themselves, while the older hatchlings nod slightly as the move past you and Resh. Once all of the hatchlings and young dragons are gone Resh leads you to the front of the cavern where Hestia and her brother are speaking.
"I'm glad you were able to make it," Hestia says once she sees you and Resh approaching. "Many of the hatchlings and young dragons you saw earlier will be looking for a new home soon, while others will seek adventure, or honor. If you are not sure, you can always talk with them some may want to come home eventually and others may choose to leave this place to not come back. They will let you know in their own way." Hestia smiles then says, "you do not need to do anything now. Rest, you've had a long journey. Do not rush in making your decision, and remember if you're not certain you can always talk to them or the other dragons in our lair to help you."
By the time Hestia stopped the two of you had reached a smaller cavern.
"This is one of our guest caves, tomorrow we will speak more and I will also tell you about the Salamanders as well. Please rest well and let us know if there is anything we can do for you during your stay here."
With that said, Hestia leaves your cave as you lay down and quickly fall asleep.
