An apothecarist who considers the other staff of Zone Eight to be his family. Though as much a patient as a member of staff, he works hard despite occasional bouts of illness signified- or brought about- by his normally Primal eyes going out.

The sash he wears is an emblem of communion, granted by the Plaguebringer herself to signify that he has recieved a vision, a divine directive. But Primal dragons have an affinity for their own element to the exclusion of all others, something which extends to their deities- so why Azoth was communicated with, and why he was ordered by the Pestilent One to contain a particular infection at all costs, is a mystery.
