IN.12.01.003 CONTAINMENT PROTOCOL: ESCHER The First of the Eleven Knights of Argus, and the commander of the Argus Collective proper. Carved out of a magical geode, she seems to outright lack emotions, and is always cool and logical, though her demeanour tends towards downright regal at times. All this conceals a ruthlessly efficient operator on the battlefield who will use any strategies necessary to win, though never losing their aura of unperturbed elegance. Leads the Argus Collective as a whole, though they also oversee special operations. After an odd portal-related encounter, they have picked up as a sort of familiar Fin, an eccentric Lux Spectre with a tendency for pyromania. They occasionally clash over Juno’s abject dismissal of the abstract. Valere, vigilare, videri. |

The portal swallows her, a searing heat on her scales as she arrives on the other side. It’s a scorched wasteland, covered in ash and soot. Trees smolder like burnt wicks, the land eerily silent as the sun sets on the horizon. “Strange,” they murmur, trying to glide above the charred remains. “I wonder what happened here…” Juno trails off, observing the land. “It’s been a long time since I’ve had visitors” a meek voice whispers in her ear, causing the Nocturne to whip around, readying her trident. “Relax warrior,” a Lux Spectre floats among the wastes, eyes narrowed, “I pose no threat to you.” “That’s debatable, you seem to be the only thing sentient in this realm,” Juno remarks, eyeing the creature. It shrugs, floating closer to them, “Ah now that’s where you’re wrong, my dear Juno. The fire is alive, it consumes until there’s nothing left.” As if to demonstrate its point, flames encircle the pair. “One could argue that is a purpose and a desire of a being, just not a favorable one.” Juno flicks her eyes towards the ring of flame around them, not phased in the slightest as burns would be nothing but another scar in her work, “Perhaps, but I see no point in this debate.” The Spectre laughs, a shrill sound and the flames burn hotter, “Ah you really are like they said you would be!” “What do you mean by that?” The sky suddenly blackens, the sun completely gone as a suffocating darkness. “Seems we’re out of time,” it tuts, seemingly smiling at Juno. The fire erupts around them, the heat too much to bear as Juno’s vision whites out. They come to in their den, laying on a bed of ash, the Spectre regarding them with glee. |

Drawing them? Thank you so much :) My style when designing dragon outfits tends towards C h a o s which can make them a bit difficult to parse, so here's a list of the more important elements of their design to retain if you don't feel like trying your hand at,,, whatever this is.
¹ Pref. with Overcast Facet colours rather than the current ones ² Feel free to omit the shoulder armor in favour of the gauntlets Additionally, if you feel like doing something beyond what's shown here, exaggerating stuff like the Daybreak Decorations and the segmented armor into more of an evident eye motif would be neat! |
