A pathway can be a beautiful thing. Safe passage, peace, prosperity, the way to faraway places, both new and old. In particular, the crossroads between the many realms of Sornieth see much use. Though they vary from the widest road to the narrowest stretch of safe ground, for or most travellers, the well-trod footpath to a set destination will do just fine. Precious few destinations still remain beyond Its grasp, but they are still out there.

Perhaps the true beauty of a pathway is that it may lead somewhere other than here.
