Biography



"After he was nearly killed after an experiment went wrong, his now-mate, Nightmare nursed him back to health with potions and herbal concoctions at the expense of his normal appearance; his scales and wing webs became like obsidian and melted glass, allowing his bones to become visible through his skin. Because of everyone being startled and horrified of his new look, he fled to the north to get away from all the mockery and confusion.
Of course after changing her own appearance to be like him, Nightmare followed him so he wouldn't be alone. Eventually, they found a rouge clan and decided to settle in, as the clan had never seen anything like them before and thought their appearances credited them to an entirely different breed from the south, and perhaps they all just look like that. Together, they've created a new subspecies of Banescale in this northern region. Nobody wanted to explain to the clan otherwise.
Because of his previous friendships turning against him, Lurin is a very aloof, cautious drake; his trust is hard earned and many in the clan question his loyalty.
Is he driven by self preservation or preservation of he and his mate only, or will he help defend the clan? Because he never exchanges words with any other dragon besides Nightmare, nobody can be for certain. Hopefully Lurin will come around eventually and lay his grievances behind him."
