The rowdy din of the seaside tavern nearly drowns out the faint sound of a piano being played. As you scan the area, you spot the scarred-up spiral, sitting by himself in the far corner of the room. His sharp eyes are fixed on something out of your view. It's clear he's lost in thought, his heavy tankard nearly slipping out of his loose claws. Eventually, he turns to look over at you as if he felt your gaze. You expect a harsh glare from a hardened dragon like him, but you're pleasantly surprised when he grins at you instead. He raises his drink in friendly greeting, then turns away and loses himself again.


There's no doubt he's a sailor. Perhaps if you sat for a chat with him, he'd have some wild stories to tell? Maybe, maybe not.
